When I was back in the UK earlier this month I visited the Design Museum to see the Christian Louboutin exhibition. It runs until 9th July and is full of the most wonderful shoes from his various collections.

As well as displaying the shoes themselves, there are a couple of other sections to the exhibition. One which shows his initial ideas, inspirations and sketches, along with some of the items you can find in his design studio. And another which shoes fetish shoes he has designed which are not actually supposed to be worn (mostly because they are NOT practical!!).

I found it particularly interesting to learn that he loves to travel and a lot of his designs are based on patterns and influences he finds abroad.
