I was recently at SXSW in Austin, Texas and had a chance to look around this year’s Flatstock exhibition. It was co-hosted by the American Poster Institute and featured numerous poster artists from around the globe exhibiting their work. There were PLENTY of posters to feast your eyes on, all by supremely talented screen printers and designers alike.

I also caught up with the UK contingent in the shape of Chris White from WeThreeClub, Sean Mort and Nick Rhodes. Check out their websites for examples of their work. Not only were they enjoying the local Texas BBQ, but they were looking for commissions also.

The whole experience was like being in Ikea. An overwhelming quantity of interesting ideas and cool things to look at – in a good way!

A friend of mine is selling their vintage Triumph so I helped out by taking some pics of the bike recently to use as part of the listing. Dragging the bike across the sand and up a hill was surprisingly fun?! Go figure.

So, I finally opened an Etsy shop! I am selling a couple of my prints that you see on this site, the “From Small Beginnings” one and the “60 seconds” clock. I am interested to see how this goes… it’s been in existence for a couple of weeks, but no orders as yet. Might have to try some shameless promotion very soon, or put some more things in there for sale.
