Thanks to my friend Maria’s suggestion, I popped along to the Cockpit Arts open studio event that is on over this weekend. Lots of lovely handmade items to see and buy such as jewellery, prints and ceramics. My favourites were those items done by Lush Designs (see picture below) and Thornback and Peel

Pretty inventive use for a toilet roll! They are by French artist Anastassia Elias.

This is a photograph I took in Manhattan, NY last year. It was the colours and mirror imagery that caught my eye.

What’s sure to be an amazing exhibition at the Royal Academy of Art in London with new works from David Hockney. Everyone should go and check it out, he is a modern day genius.
