I saw a picture of these online some time ago and have been wanting to make them ever since. I finally got around to it this week and this is how they turned out:

Call me a geek, but I think these lenticular Thunderbirds stamps are pretty cool. Issued by the Royal Mail to celebrate Gerry Anderson’s creation, they are the first ‘motion stamps’ of their kind.
They were originally developed by lenticular printers Outer Aspect for Royal Mail. Using their printing technology the stamps show the opening sequence of the Thunderbirds T.V series. This effect is achieved by layering video images together to create moving images when viewed from different angles. So clever.
I have recently been fortunate enough to work on a great book called Ministry of Pandemonium by Chris Westwood. I commissioned the cover artwork which was created by the very talented Jim Kay, as well as creating the overall design and look of interior pages.
Subsequently I have project managed and designed a micro site to help promote the book. With the help of web coding guru Simon Kilmore it is now complete, LIVE and ready for action. Please have a look, enter the competition, download the extract, or buy the book. The cover is going to be all foiled and lovely and a beautiful object as well as a great read.

I am rather fond of tights, so was thrilled to discover this kiwi designer Carla Watson who screen prints designs onto them. Great idea, you could really have some fun with some clever designs.
The Earth From Above exhibition has been touring the world for some years now. This is the first time I have ever seen the open air public exhibition and I thought it was a great way to view the photographs. It’s hard to walk past without stopping and staring at Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s amazing pictures.
They have a huge world map on the ground to highlight each location photographed. This helps you to picture clearly where some of the wonderful sights to see are. As I walked across I was definitely compiling a wish list of places to travel to.
The photos themselves are fantastic and if you haven’t seen some of them before I urge you to check them out. Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s website is a good place to start, or go to any book shop and flick through the book. Better yet, compile your wish list and visit a few of them in real life. Here are a few of my favourites:
